The direction is as standard as the cinematography. I enjoyed it a lot! It's trying to be funny, but it cant be because of the seriousness of it all. What a guy.

Lovecraft Country: Season 1

Those lifelong military people are not "normal" people. Lakeith Stanfield is a stand out. "War Machine," and Brad Pitt, even exceeded the deadpan message of "Being There" a film from a less cynical time in history but still relevant to this day. 259 out of 357 found this helpful. War Machine is a superior film to Allied or Fury, so the fact that the biased reviews are giving a extraordinary and compelling film like War Machine a lower score than those films is really disturbing to me.

He uses any means to get his way while not getting his meeting with Obama. It is a very safely crafted film. The story is poorly told as well and from beginning to end it fails to deliver any form of satisfaction in terms of content, entertainment, or any other metric with which you might judge a good film. I really appreciate the story War Machine tells, which sheds light on the hypocrisy and surrealism around the role of the US in the Afghani war. Luckily, if one has a Netflix subscription, one may watch if "for free". Some think of this movie as an anti-war statement. Retiring CIA agent Nathan Muir recalls his training of Tom Bishop while working against agency politics to free him from his Chinese captors. Netflix enlists its biggest star yet, but the satire never quite snaps to attention.

War Machine is a First Person Shooter in which a soldier (Ryan) has a mission to save the world from a machine revolution. This is not a comedy. War Machine review – Brad Pitt goes over the top in Afghan war satire 2 / 5 stars 2 out of 5 stars. Most recently, he has been more in the headlines because of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, but here we have something … The Afghan people thought they were free. The movie is a pretty insightful look at war, and those who have to be involved with it.

I really enjoyed it too. He's able to capture multiple emotions with several looks and it kinda works.

It is healthy to look at things through the eyes of people with views that may be different from yours. In this situation, he feels his mission is to "win" the war, something deemed impossible by everyone around him.
